Shoot A Ray releases Pulse Infiltrator for Android

General

E3 may be over, but new Android games are still rolling out like Pulse Infiltrator from Shoot A Ray. It’s a first-person shooter that describes itself as a tactical espionage game, and if that doesn’t sound cool enough for you there’s also telekinesis…

Pulse Infiltrator follows the age old tale of big brother vs. the uprising. In this case, it’s the Citadel Corporation against The Resistance, and you’ll take control of a Pulse Infiltrator that’s out to bring freedom back to the world. You’ll do this by solving problems that require you to snap things into place using your telekinesis – you’ll also get to shoot folk, manipulate gravity, and do a bit of free running. By the numbers, Pulse Infiltrator has around 27 levels spread across three different zones, but there are no extras to speak of.

I love a game with a cool futuristic storyline, and Pulse Infiltrator certainly has that. It’s not a bad looking game either, and the whole shooting-telekinesis thing is pretty cool. The issue I have with the game is with the controls which can’t be adjusted. If it was setup with multiple control schemes it would be great, but you’re stuck with one and it’s hard to deal with as you can’t move the controls, you can only adjust the sensitivity. If you dig shooters it’s a game you may want to check out, just be prepared to deal with finicky controls. You can pick up Shoot A Ray’s Pulse Infiltrator for $1.99 on Google Play.
