Sega releases Total War Battles Shogun for Android

General

Sega has released some great Android games so far, and yesterday they added a new one to their Android lineup with Total War Battles Shogun. If you like RTS games or Ninjas, Shogun is a game you’re going to want to check out.

Total War Battles: Shogun is a real-time strategy game set in Medieval Japan where you’ll have to build up your army and lead your clan into battle. It’s an in-depth RTS with a massive story-driven campaign (10 hours) where you’ll have to build up your economy so you can manage and deploy troops and build awesome new units including archers, samurai, and ninja’s of course! The game has a hex style battle map which is nothing new to anyone that regularly plays RTS games, but Total War Battles: Shogun does bring something new to the table with its Bushido code of conduct. This means your units cannot turn their back which definitely changes the game and your strategy on the battlefield. Total War Battles: Shogun has a skirmish mode with 6 standalone battles with three difficulty settings, and you can go 1-on-1 against a friend on your devices with local multi-player.

I’m a fan of strategy games in any format, and Total War Battles: Shogun is a game that’s definitely gotten my attention. I mean come on… you get to duke it out with in massive battles involving ninjas and samurai in medieval japan. It doesn’t get much better than that as far as I’m concerned. Needless to say if you’re into RTS games or love anything involving Ninjas you’ll definitely want to pick this one up. No demo is available, but you can get the full version of Sega’s Total War Battles: Shogun for $4.99.
