BulkyPix AMA releases Hills of Glory: WWII for Android

General

Hills of Glory: WWII is a new Android game from BulkyPix AMA that puts players into battle in a WWII setting. It’s a strategy game that requires quick fingers and some patience as once the battles starts things tend to get a little tricky.

Hills of Glory: WWII is kind of like a tower defense game as you have one big bunker to defend from waves of enemies, but that’s where the similarities end. When a battle begins the enemies come at you in waves, and if you let them get to close they’ll begin to fire on your bunker. You’ll take the enemies down through gestures like tapping, swiping and pinching; each gesture represents a different type of armament from a different type of solider. That’s really where the fun came in for me as it’s very cool to draw a line for machine gun fire, tap for a single shot, and swipe for artillery. While I haven’t been all the way through the game yet, there seems to be a lot of different weapons to choose from which is never a bad thing. Hills of Glory: WWII has 2 modes of play, trophies and several different missions to play through.

So far I really like what I’ve seen from the game, and it’s been a pleasant surprise. The graphics and WWII theme of the game look great and the gameplay is top-notch. Fans of strategy games or tower defense games will definitely dig Hills of Glory and it’s worth checking out if you’re a casual gamer as well. You can pick up Hills of Glory: WWII in the Android market for $1.99.
