Real Racing 3 Zooms onto Google Play

General

Prepare to start your engines! EA has finally released the highly anticipated Real Racing 3 for Android and we finally get to see if it lives up to the hype. We also get to see if all the griping about the IAP setup is valid…

Real Racing 3 is supposed to set the standard for slick racing games and it only takes a few minutes with the game to realize that those claims are true. It’s one of the slickest racing games we’ve ever seen on a mobile platform and you’re going to have to have the space and speed to run it. What’s inside of this pretty packaging? You’ll get tons of officially licensed tracks, 45 cars, and something called Time Shifted Multiplayer. This lets you race against anyone in the world even if they are offline which is pretty darned cool to say the least. You won’t have to worry about getting bored either as Real Racing 3 offers up over 900 events including drag races and endurance challenges. They had me sold with Drag Races…

I don’t play many racing games, but I’ve been looking forward to Real Racing 3 as it’s supposed to be the best. The download is huge at a whopping 1.7 gigs so unfortunately I’m still waiting on it to finish at the moment. The early reviews are mixed between people griping about the IAP setup and graphics glitches. Bugs are to be expected, but I have a feeling IAP’s are going to be the real issue. We’ll have more on this one in a few days, if you want to take it for a spin now you can pick up EA’s Real Racing 3 for free on Google Play.
