Rayman Jungle Run for Android delayed

General

A little while back we excitedly heard that Ubisoft would be releasing Rayman Jungle Run onto the Android platform on September 20th of this year. For those of you who have been anxiously waiting for the game, myself included and have been checking the Google Play Store you will have seen the Android game has not appeared yet on the Google Play Store but, it has shown up for iOS devices – in fact Ubisoft were able to get the game out a day early for iOS fans. Unfortunately, Ubisoft have announced that there will be a small delay in getting the game released for Android.

Ubisoft want to ensure the game works smoothly on all Android devices and runs perfectly alongside Android. However, as it stands at the moment, Ubisoft are not 100 percent sure that they can offer a flawless game on the Android platform. This is partly due to there being such a huge variety of Android devices, all running on different specifications and screen sizes. To make sure the game is fully optimized for all Android devices, Ubisoft will now be releasing the game onto the Android platform on September 27th.

The game is expected to go on sale when it is released next week for $3/£2. If you missed the announcement about Rayman Jungle Run, the game is a spin off to Rayman Origins which was released as a console game. In Rayman Jungle Run, Rayman is set off automatically running and the touch screen is used to make Rayman jump with a tap, or hover by holding your finger down.
