The Tiny Bang Story takes place in a Steampunk world that was recently destroyed by a horrible asteroid strike. Your job is to help put things back together as you try to rebuild the magical world, and you’re going to do it by solving puzzles, and collecting objects. The gameplay is similar to another great puzzler by the name of Machinarium although The Tiny Bang Story has plenty of originality and is its own unique game. It’s also a very tough game as it throws you right into the game with no real instructions which means you’re probably going to be a little frustrated until you figure out how things work. Once you get the hang of it… it’s still pretty tough which isn’t necessarily bad as who wants an easy puzzle game?
The Tiny Bang Story is a puzzle game with a lot of polish as the graphics are great and have a unique style while the puzzles are truly puzzling at times. I’m still in the first section as I only started playing the game today, but I definitely look forward to spending more time with the game over the weekend. Kudos to Colibri Games & Herocraft for bringing this to Android; if you’re into puzzlers this is definitely a nice one to pick up.
