Towers N’ Trolls is a new Tower Defense game from Ember Entertainment that puts you to work defending your castle against hordes of trolls. There truly are a lot of Tower Defense games out there, but not many have to style and swagger of Towers N’ Trolls.
If you’ve ever played a TD game you’ll have no problem getting down to business in Tower N’ Trolls as the basics stay the same. You’ll need to defend your castle, the enemies come in waves, and you’ll place towers along the paths to stop or slow your enemies down. Tower N’ Trolls offers up 40 levels of fun set across 8 different worlds. There are 3 different modes of play with Story, Challenge, and Open mode; the game also has 3 levels of difficulty that will challenge even the most hardcore TD fans. As fun as the game is, the graphics are what really caught my eye as Tower N’ Trolls uses unique hand painted backdrops for its battles. The graphics might not be cutting-edge, but they certainly are sharp and really make the game stand out from the rest.
Verdict
I just briefly tried Tower N’ Trolls out, but saw enough to know that it’s going to be a great little Tower Defense game. It’s got style, depth, and plenty of weapons to take out your enemies with. There isn’t a free version available at this time, but the full version will only set you back $2.99.
