BulkyPix Ama has put out some cool Android games over the past year, and they’ve just added one more to their catalog with Pix’n Love Rush. Are you a fan of 80s gaming? Do ya’ dig Pixely retro games? If so, there’s no doubt that you love Pix’n Love Rush.
Pix’n Love Rush puts you in control of a Pixel Cat whos job is to run from level to level collecting as many bonuses as possible. You’ll get to do this in 4 different game modes with Classic Rush, Cursed Rush, Rainbow Rush, and On-Off Rush. Classic rush throws you into a colorful world with constantly changing levels and lets you jump and shoot while Cursed rush just has you trying to make it to the end through jumping. Rainbow Rush lets you “change lanes” to survive, and On-Off Rush puts you to work collecting suns moons during the appropriate time of day. Each mode offers a little something different, and all the modes have local high score tables to keep track of your best. Pix’n Love Rush may not have any extras to speak of, but it really doesn’t need them as it’s all about the pixels.
Verdict
There are quite a few retro themed pixel games out there, and Pix’n Love Rush is a welcome addition to the pack. The game does a nice job of keeping things fresh and has plenty of game modes to keep you busy. I also found it to be a challenging game; especially Cursed Rush as I’ve only been able to get to around 40% on the first difficulty level dubbed “Hard”. Overall, Pix’n Love Rush is a nice collection of retro jumping games, and if you dig pixely retro games Pix’n Love Rush is a game you won’t want to miss. There isn’t a free version available at this time, but you can pick up the full version of Pix’n Love Rush for $1.99 on Google Play.
