Overview
Everyone loves a good Ninja game and there’s a new one that just popped up called Shinobi ZIN: Ninja Boy from Pictosoft Inc. Feel like sneaking around and taking out enemies with your judy chop? If so, Shinobi ZIN: Ninja Boy might just be the game for you…
Shinobi ZIN: Ninja Boy is all about sneaking around as Ninja’s are pretty sneaky after all. Moving your ninja is done by touching then drawing a line where you want your lil’ ninja to go, but as you might image things aren’t going to be that easy. You’ll have to move crates, avoid spikes, and dodge death at every turn as you make your way through the game. The game is broken down into floors with each floor containing around 10 levels. Each floor will cost you a certain amount of Shurikens to enter, and those Shurikens can be earned during gameplay along with the ninja coins. There is a Ninja Shop that offers a few new characters along with some powerups. The characters will cost you cash, but you can use money earned in-game to buy the powerups. The game seems to have quite a few levels and the Openfeint leaderboard and achievement system adds a little depth as well.
Verdict
Shinobi ZIN: Ninja Boy is a cool little game that’s fun to play and easy on the eyes. The graphics and animations are all well done as you quickly notice when you’re crawling through the levels. I only had a chance to give the game a brief play, but so far I like what I’ve seen. It is a free “ad-supported” game so you are going to get some ads, but they don’t interfere with gameplay.
