Dungeon Crawlers have always been popular on Google Play, and Mighty Dungeons is one of the cooler ones we’ve seen this year. It’s what happens when you cross a dungeon crawler with a board game, and it’s definitely a blast from the past if you dig old-school Rougelike games.
Mighty Dungeons takes you on a trip down memory lane as you crawl through dungeons and take down sword wielding skeletons and all sorts of other baddies. The game uses a top-down perspective to guide you along on your journey, and it doesn’t take long before you’re thrown right into battle.
Behind every door is the promise of treasure, but more often than not you‘ll be met by a group of monsters hell-bent on your destruction. Mighty Dungeons has several different classes to choose from, and there’s a lot to do as you fight your way through 3 lengthy campaigns.
I only played the demo version of Mighty Dungeons, but was extremely impressed by what I saw. The game is easy for pros or rookies to play and there are a slew of setting you can adjust to make the game suit your needs. If you really want a challenge turn on Permadeath. There’s a demo of Mighty Dungeons you can check out for free, and if you like what you see the full version can be yours for $1.99.
