This almost doesn’t qualify as news now, as most of the sites ran stories yesterday announcing that Dead Trigger was coming out today. That’s a lot of hype when dozens of sites announce that your game is coming out the day before, then do another announcement the day of its release. It’s safe to say Dead Trigger gets the “Highly Anticipated” tag, but can it live up to it?
Dead Trigger is set in 2012 where the world is in trouble and society is collapsing. In the midst of all the chaos a mysterious virus breaks out and everyone’s favorite monster… the Zombie comes into play. You’re job is to destroy the undying hordes, secure supplies, and save the survivors because they always need saving. Needless to say, they’ll be a lot of weapons, death, and more Zombies than you can shake a stick at. MADFINGER Games really did an awesome job with Shadowgun & Samurai II: Vengeance so it’s pretty safe to say this one’s going to be easy on the eyeballs and a lot of fun to play.
Verdict
I haven’t played this game and the market description is surprisingly vague on the level count, etc.., but I look forward to checking Dead Trigger out this afternoon. I did cringe when I first saw the words “TapJoy Offers Wall is not implemented yet”. I know they’ll put it in anyway, but am I the only one getting sick of offer walls and ads in games? Either way, this one WILL be a great game and if you dig Zombies or games with sick graphics you’ll want to pick this one up. You can check out MADFINGER Games Dead Trigger on Google Play for $0.99.
