ZeptoLab has made quite the name for themselves with their very popular game Cut the Rope. Pudding Monsters is the developers latest title, and it’s also the companies first new game outside of Cut the Rope. Expectations will be high, but a physics-based puzzler with cute little jellies sounds right up their alley.
Pudding Monsters is a puzzle game of sorts where you’ll have to stick Pudding Monsters together to get through the level. The more monsters you stick together the larger you’ll be which allows you to get through some tough spots. Not much else is known about the game at this time, but you can bet there will be plenty of levels, cool power-ups, and lots of cute little monsters. We do have a few screenshots along with a brief trailer, but we there hasn’t been any gameplay videos posted yet.
I’m a big Cut the Rope fan and it’s one of the few games I always recommend to people when they first get a smartphone. Needless to say I’m looking forward to Pudding Monsters. No word on Om Nom making an appearance, but we’ve got our fingers crossed. You’ll be able to pick up ZeptoLab’s Pudding Monster on December 20th from Google Play.
