We’ve seen games that let you throw birds and fling people, but Postman Adventures is the first one that lets you sling parcels. It gives a whole new meaning to the word “Air Mail” and it’s quite a bit of fun to boot.
Postman Adventures lets you man an SPS truck that just happens to be equipped with a catapult. This is how you go about delivering the mail as you have to catapult parcels over houses, trees, and other obstacles. You simply need to hit the “delivery zone” to complete a level and you’ll get a little boost from helpful power-ups like rockets, trampolines, and black holes. The game is almost too easy at first, but as you can see from the screens things get much, much harder as the game progresses. By the numbers Postman Adventures offers up 100 levels set across two different areas with Parcelville and Nightville; the game does use the 3-star setup, but we didn’t notice any achievements or extras to speak of.
Postman Adventures is a simple, but cool little physics-flinger with tons of levels and cute family friendly graphics. I’ve only run through a handful of levels and it’s easy enough to where anyone should be able to pick up the game and fling mail with abandon. It is a little surprising that there isn’t a power-up shop in a game of this nature, but that’s perfectly fine with me as there aren’t any IAP’s and the ads are very minimal.
