Rovio have already announced that they intend to release a brand new game to add to their Angry Birds franchise family and the Android app and games developer have just moved to release a brand new trailer for the game, entitled ‘Bad Piggies’, to show avid and potential Angry Birds fans a snippet of the game play and features that will be found in the upcoming game.
The general point of the game play is to construct vehicles which will help you to navigate through the various levels of the game while avoiding obstacles. Car, helicopter and plane ‘like’ vehicles can be constructed within the game and different levels will require different types of vehicles to finish the level successfully. It is unknown from the video how the scoring system will work in the Bad Piggies game but, with a release due before the end of the month, we won’t have to wait too long until we find out how it works.
Rovio themselves have said that they will release the Bad Piggies game on to the Android Platform as soon as September 27th which is just over a week away now. It’s currently unknown however whether the game will be free and ad supported or if they will release it as a paid game with a ‘lite’ version as Rovio have recently done with “Amazing Alex”. It’s also interesting to note that while most people will consider this Bad Piggies game to be a spin off to Angry Birds, Rovio are calling it a “sibling” to the Angry Birds series.
