Palworld has officially exited Early Access with its Version 1.0 update on July 10, 2026, and the creature-collecting survival game just proved it still has serious momentum. The full launch saw a new 24-hour peak of 853,393 players on Steam, marking the biggest player surge since its explosive early access debut back in January 2024.
The update adds 72 new Pals bringing the total to 287, opens the long-awaited World Tree region plus Sunreach, a floating sky island, and introduces new Awakening and Mutation systems for strengthening Pals. Developer Pocketpair delivered what many are calling a complete reimagining rather than just another patch, with official patch notes running roughly 27 pages and over 10,000 words.

Palworld 1.0 currently sits at 96 percent positive reviews on Steam, with players praising both the massive update and Pocketpair’s decision to not raise the game’s price for 1.0. The game remains priced at 29.99 dollars despite all the additional content.
On Twitch, the game has climbed back into relevance with Palworld ranking as the fourth most-watched game on the platform for the last seven days in July 2026, sitting just behind Grand Theft Auto V and ahead of Counter-Strike.
