Minecraft is one of the most popular games around, and as with any popular game, there are going to be clones. Guncrafter is the latest game to try their hand at Minecraft’s winning formula, and you’ve got to love their tagline of – Dream it, build it, shoot it…
Minecraft is a game about building while Guncrafter is a game about shooting. You’ll get to craft weapons from blocks made out of different types of materials and go head-to-head in shooting challenges against people online. It will take a little getting used to as you can’t actually move around in the game, you stand still and aim using your gyroscope or swipe-based controls.
Guncrafter may be a stationary shooter, but there’s still plenty to do between crafting and going for challenges. Besides playing against someone, you can “farm” or try your luck at a game of chance. Chance is basically a slot machine where you wager coins to try to earn more while farming lets you shoot plants and other types of blocks.
Guncrafter seems like an awesome idea, but I’m not quite sure what to make of it yet. The graphics are definitely Minecrafty, and the crafting aspect is pretty cool as well.
