An interesting Beta came out over the weekend in the form of SoulCraft THD from Mobilebits. So what makes this game special? How about jaw-dropping graphics and the fact you’ll soon be able play this RPG as an Angel, Devil or Human for starters…
Soulcraft is a free2play Action RPG that lets players play in real locations like Venice, Rome, and Hamburg while battling a variety of enemies using lots of cool weapons and spells. You can only play the demo as an Angel for now, but more races including Demons and Humans will be added in the future. The game also boasts five different game modes including time run, arena, hellgate, crystal defense, and boss fights. As awesome as the beta sounds, the folks at Mobilebits have some pretty big plans for Soulcraft in the future as they plan bring the game to more Android devices in the future and add functionality to the iOS, WP7, and PC platforms.
I got to check this out on a buddy’s Xoom and it was pretty slick; I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what the game looks like when it’s finished. It is still in “BETA” and only for Tegra devices so keep that in mind before you download it and make market comments. The Beta is a nice preview of what should be a very cool game when it’s finished and released.
