Jump Games caught our attention earlier this week with their Total Recall movie game, now they’re back again with another game involving a Hollywood superstar called Electric City The Revolt.
Electric City The Revolt is based on an animated series of the same name by the one and only Tom Hanks. Yup, that Tom Hanks from The Green Mile, you know the guy that was buddies with Wilson in Castaway. Electric City The Revolt takes place in a world ruled by Wire Central who controls all the electricity along with all of the information. You play Frank Deetleman and your job is to lead the revolt to fight back against the heads of Wire Central and win back the cities freedom. There are plenty of missions to undertake in the game, mysteries to solve and challenging mini-games to play. I’m not sure how deep the game is yet, but I’m assuming it’s going to be a large one as it seems to have a deep, immersive (and interesting) storyline.
Verdict
Jump Games has really put a dent into my time by releasing two interesting games this week, and Electric City The Revolt looks to be a very intriguing game. Although I haven’t played it yet, it’s a good looking game and it seems as if there’s going to be some strategy involved which is never a bad thing. Electric City The Revolt looks to be a game worth checking out, and you can pick it up for free on Google Play.
