Hone your Skills with The Harlem Globetrotters Trick Shots for Android

General

An interesting little basketball game dropped last week that’s flying a bit under the radar called Trick Shots. It’s an official Harlem Globetrotters game and if you know anything about the Globetrotters you already know the kind of crazy shots you can expect from Trick Shots.

Trick Shots is a game all about performing amazing shots, and you’ll get a chance to make buckets in many different locations including airplanes, cliffs, and the moon. You’ll shoot baskets by touching your player and dragging a trajectory, and you’ll only get 5 attempts to make the trick shot. If you play a lot of physics-based games you’ll have no trouble getting the hang of Trick Shots quickly although I do feel the shooting mechanic could be tuned up a bit. Each level has 3 stars you’ll want to try and collect as well which adds another degree of difficulty to the game. By the numbers Trick Shot gives you 30 levels, 16 different basketballs, and 11 tricky achievements to shoot for. Not a ton of levels, but considering it’s going to take you several (or dozens) of attempts to complete some levels the game does have some depth.

I always enjoyed watching the Harlem Globetrotters growing up, and it’s nice to see an official game from the folks that have brought fans so much joy throughout the years. Trick Shots is a solid game and only real issue I had was with aiming at times as sometimes the screen starts to pan around when you’re trying to make a shot. Nothing major, and overall the game has been quite a bit of fun to play. If you’re a fan of the Harlem Globetrotters or are just looking to have a bit of quick fun you’ll definitely want to check this one out. You can pick up Harlem Globetrotters International’s Trick Shots for free on Google Play.
