Overview
Amazing Charlie is a new Android game from Blue Carrot Games makers of a popular iOS called Axe in the Face. Their new game doesn’t involve any axes, but it does involve a clown named Charlie, cannons, and cupcakes.
The Amazing Charlie is a “connect the dots” style game where you’ll fire Charlie from a series of cannons across the arena and into a big ol’ cupcake. You can fire into any cannon on the screen, but you can’t cross animals and you’ll want to try and pick up any bonuses you see in the arena. The gameplay is very fast-paced and each stage consists of a series of 8 quick acts. The game has plenty of levels as well with 63 in all and 19 tricky achievements to shoot for. Actually when you consider that you’re getting 8 stages per act you’re technically getting around 500 levels which is pretty crazy.
Verdict
I got into The Amazing Charlie late last night, and ended up crashing out while it was still going. I didn’t fall asleep because I was bored either; I dozed off because I didn’t want to put it down. The game is a blast to play and you can bet your bottom dollar there will be a full review up in a day or two. No free version is available at this time, but the full version can be had for only $0.99 cents. It’s a great game folks, and I highly recommend you check it out.
