Defending Castles is all the rage and a new game called Besieged from Leviathan Games lets you do it in style. The battles will be fast and furious which tests your skills to see if you’re strong enough to hold back the undead minions of darkness.
Besieged drops you into a medieval world populated by sword wielding skeletons and various other evil minions. You’ll have to defend your castle by destroying any evil headed your way, and you’re given 12 cool weapons to do that with. Defending your castle is just half the battle though as you’ll also have to build things to upgrade your kingdom and keep your citizens happy like Quarries, Farms, Wells, and Barracks. There store offers a lot of upgrades for your castle and there are plenty of quests to keep you busy along the way as well.
Verdict
Castle Defense games are a dime a dozen, but Besieged separates itself from the pack with it’s slick graphics, style, and gameplay. I only gave this one a brief whirl this afternoon, but plan on revisiting it over the weekend. If you like strategy or castle defense games I would highly recommend you check this one out.
