First it was physics-flingers and now its TCG games. Card Battling games are all the rage right now and Gameloft is throwing its hat into the ring with Order & Chaos Duels. If you’re a fan of Gameloft’s MMORPG you’ll be in hog heaven and if you dig TCG games you won’t be disappointed.
Order & Chaos Duels takes place in the world of mythical world Order & Chaos where you’ll take on a demonic spirit named Velik and his nasty minions. When you first fire up the game you’re taken to a screen where you get to select a Hero and there’s a lot to choose from. There are four different races with four heroes each. I went with Undead as that’s just how I roll. After that you’ll get a brief tutorial on the game which takes you through the first bit of the campaign. In addition to the campaign mode you’ll get to duke it out in some online multiplayer action. Order & Chaos Duels offers up over 250 cards to collect and as you’d expect there’s a shop geared towards IAP’s. I haven’t checked the balance yet so it remains to be seen how big a part in-app purchases play in building your deck.
Order & Chaos Duels is a gorgeous TCG and it’s definitely one of the more polished card battling games you’ll come across. I just blew through a half a dozen quick battles so far so good. Needless to say, if you’re in the market for a new TCG game Order & Chaos Duels is definitely worth checking out.
