Gameloft has been busy of late dropping two Android Games into the market over the past week with NFL Pro 2012, and a little shooter called Modern Combat 3. This release surprised me for a few reasons; mainly that a NFL game was the last thing I expected from Gameloft. The other surprise came when I started up the game and got to playing…
NFL Pro 2012 isn’t a knock-off NFL Game, they actually have all 32 NFL teams and over 2,000 real players which is great because everyone likes to play with the real Pros. It’s not necessarily a NFL game like madden, but on the same hand it’s not like Gamebreaker either. Basically as you play games you’ll earn points that are used to buy new plays, stat boosts, stadiums, and everything else under the sun.Your players can be upgraded in-game which was nice; especially if you’re a Broncos fan as you can give Tebow a little stat boost in the passing department. Control-wise the game plays great, and is much more fun than Madden in my opinion. It’s a simple game to play and it’s quite a bit of fun if you dig football.
While NFL Pro 2012 is one of the funner football games out there, it could use a little few tweaks here and there and there are quite a few market comments regarding Force closes. There are also a lot of comments damning the game for the in-app setup; I haven’t gotten for enough into the game to encounter it so I’ll reserve my bitching for now. Either way, the game looks & plays great on my trusty Captivate and if you’re into the NFL you’ll want to give it a look. You can pick up NFL Pro 2012 in the Android market for free.
