Gameloft prepping Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour for fall release

General

Over at the currently running Tokyo Game Show convention in Japan, this year developer Gameloft have stepped forward and have unveiled the fourth installment in their Modern Combat mobile gaming series. Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour focuses around the character Edward Page who we met in the previous game Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation and he is listed as the prime suspect of kidnapping the game’s US president Burke from the news report we can see in the video shown below.

While the video hasn’t yet officially been released by Gameloft but, rather by a Modern Combat fan over at the Tokyo game show it does appear to be the “real deal”. In the video, there is a quick bio of the main antagonist of the game, Edward Page who is a member of the K.P.R Alliance and an ex-US Ranger. The video also shows us a brief few seconds of in game play which shows a city square and two helicopters that are low flying and cross paths whilst having a voice over moment on the video. The voice is presumed to be Edward Page who tells players that they will “walk away with blood on your hands”.

The end of the game play video tells us that the game will be released by Gameloft in the coming fall as an Android game and for iOS based devices. Based on the time of year that both Modern Combat 2 and Modern Combat 3 were released on to the market, Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour is expected to be released in November. Pricing details obviously aren’t yet available for the game.
