We’ve seen quite a few Android based Real Time Strategy games lately, and Genesis from eFusion is the newest one to grace our Android devices. If you enjoy epic battles with multiple units and unique tech, it’s pretty safe to say you’re going to enjoy this game.
Genesis is the story of 3 races – the Noah, Humans, and Demons. Each of those races has their own tech, and you’ll get to pick and duke it out with the others. It’s a setup similar to the classic Warcraft & Starcraft games or any other recent RTS that follows the classic formula. Genesis lets you battle in campaign mode or you can go to war using the game’s online multi-player feature which is definitely a nice touch. The races and tech of Genesis seem pretty cool as well as you’ll get to choose to fight with robots, aliens, or mystical monsters. I haven’t actually gotten to fight with any of them yet, but am looking forward to doing so once I make it through the lengthy tutorial that you can skip past. That being said, the tutorial is a must if you’re new to RTS games as there are quite a few commands you’ll need to know before sending your armies out to battle.
As mentioned, I haven’t gotten a chance to give this one a proper play yet but Genesis looks to be a solid new RTS game. Moving your units and attacking is very simple thanks to the easy to use interface, and the graphics look awesome as well. It’s pretty safe to say that if you enjoy RTS games this one looks like a great on to try.
