Bulkypix brings Fort Boyard to Android

General

I’ve always enjoyed games based on TV series, and Bulkypix’s Fort Boyard is the newest TV based game to grace our touchscreen’s. I’ve never heard of or watched Fort Boyard the show, but Fort Boyard the Android game looks interesting to say the least.

Fort Boyard (the show) is a French Game Show that’s been around since the early 90s, and the game lets you step into the fun filled world of Fort Boyard as a contestant on the show. You’ll get to take on 24 tricky challenges from the show including favorites like Cylinders, Power Pedals, and Sticks while trying to solve the Professor’s riddles and defeat the Masters of Time. I’m not sure exactly how nefarious the Master of Time are, but they sound like something out of an 80s Terry Gilliam flick. By the numbers Fort Boyard offers gamers 2 different modes of play, 48 ridiculous riddles, 5 teams of candidates, 4 difficulty levels, and lots of unlockable elements.

I haven’t had a chance to play Fort Boyard yet, but after reading up on the show I’m definitely going to give it a shot. It sounds like a cross between Ninja Warrior and Fear Factor or something although I could be totally off as I’ve yet to give it a run. If it’s as cool as it looks I’ll report back, and if you want to give it a go for yourself you can pick up Fort Boyard for $2.99 on Google Play.
