Overview
If you like games like Tetris, Bubble Blast and Dr. Mario you’re going to love a new game from Blakit called Bacterium Evolution. This new Android combines elements of all those game to make a wacky puzzler that’s all about Evolution.
As with most Match-3 style games you’re goal is to match similar objects or in this case bacteria. Moving your bacteria into place is done by simply rotating and dragging, it’s then up to you to find a perfect match so you can place the next bacteria. The gameplay is easy to get the hand of, and you’ll even get a little help from a few power-ups like the pill, chameleon, and blaster. Bacterium Evolution also uses Openfeint so you can check your scores against the best and try to unlock one of the games many achievements.
Verdict
Bacterium Evolution is a shiny, new puzzler that’s easy to pick up and play; the graphics are sharp and the gameplay mechanic is fun & easy to use. As it is a simple puzzle game there isn’t much depth, but it’s still a solid quick-play game that fans of Tetris and similar Puzzlers will enjoy.
