Overview
There are a lot of Match-3 games out there, and some are much cooler than others. Such is the case with BraveSmart a new Match 3 game from Flare Games. The market description claims you’ll pick it up in a second, and won’t be able to put it down. After spending a little time with the game I’m inclined to agree as it’s one of the best Match 3 games I’ve played in quite some time.
BraveSmart takes place in Scotland after the Middle Ages in a land full of mythical creatures, Scottish clans, and rolling hills. Three Clans have started to resettle the highlands, but they can’t decide on a common course of action as highlanders are pretty indecisive about these things. It doesn’t help that their sheep are revolting and moving against them either. You play BraveSmart the smartest man around and you’ll have to help the clans get organized by combining matching tiles. If you combine three wood, metal or rock tiles you can build a cottage, and three cottages will get you a mansion, and so on…You’ll need to outwit the sheep while making the most of your sheep and you’re going to have a great time doing it.
Verdict
BraveSmart is a “smart” little game that’s fun to play and has a great sense of humor. I have had a blast building houses, and watching the odd little Scotsman babble away. There’s a lot more to the game than I can cover in a simple news piece so the best thing I can tell you is that if you enjoy a good puzzler you need to go pick up this game.
