Game shows were huge when I was growing up, and Family Feud was a great one a lot of us enjoyed. Thanks to Ludia’s Family Feud & Friends fans of the show can now enjoy a little Family Feud on their Android Devices.
Family Feud & Friends lets you challenge strangers or your friends & family as you try to name the most popular answers to survey questions just like on TV. I spent quite a bit of time fooling around with the game last night, and I will say that the questions are varied, and getting the answers in quickly is easily done thanks to predictive typing. You even get to take on the ‘Fast Money’ questions in a lightning round so you basically get to do almost everything they do on Television. Family Feud & Friends is a social game, and while you can play against random opponents you’re encouraged to log in to Facebook and duke it out with folks you know. There are perks for playing socially instead of as guest including bonus cash for the highest score after 24 hours.
Family Feud & Friends is a nice way to relive some old game show memories, and it’s quite a bit of fun to boot. I was a little worried it was going to be one of those games that forces you to play through social means, but you can log in as a guest which is nice as some of us don’t like being ‘connected’ at all times. Ludia did a great job with the presentation; the background tunes and overall atmosphere of the game works well and should satisfy fans of the show. Personally, I liked another of The Price is Right Decades better as it had a lot more to it, but Family Feud & Friends is still a solid casual game.
