To unlock the quest, players must save the Tears of the Kingdom's Lost Woods from Ganondorf's influence. The quest involves finding the Chasm in the Deku Tree's stomach and venturing into the Depths to defeat Gloom Hands and Phantom Ganon.
Once completed, the Lost Woods will be safe for Koroks and the Deku Tree. At the top of the Deku Tree, players can interact with Walton, who awaits someone to play with.
He challenges Link to test his hiding skills by finding a Forest Dweller Sword and Spear.
To prepare for the quest, Link should create space in his inventory for the new weapons. Luckily, the helpful giant Korok Hestu can expand the weapon and shield inventory.
Afterward, venture across the top of the Deku Tree to find a tall section of bark. Embedded within it is the Forest Dweller Sword, a sturdy one-handed weapon with a power of 7.
Additionally, collect the Bursting materials, which can be repeatedly used to enhance the spear.
Locating the Forest Dweller Spear requires some extra effort. It is cleverly concealed behind one of the prominent branches on the Deku Tree's head, precisely at coordinates 0405, 2197, 0229.
This wooden two-handed spear boasts a power of 7. Notably, the Bursting materials merged with these weapons during the Tears of the Kingdom quest can be utilized repeatedly, providing additional advantages.
Upon delivering the Forest Dweller Sword and Spear to Walton, he will request Link's assistance once more, this time in locating a Forest Dweller's Shield.
Concealed just above the entrance to the Deku Tree's naval, where the mushroom shop, inn, and Chasm reside, this shield spans 30 blocks. Retrieve the shield and return it to Walton to claim Link's well-deserved reward.
