We’re seeing a lot of Rube Goldberg style puzzle games lately, and it’s definitely not a bad thing if you enjoy crazy inventions. Crazy Machines Golden Gears THD is the latest contraption building game to grace our screens and it’s a “must have” game if you’re rocking a Tegra 3 device.
Crazy Machines Golden Gears THD puts you to work helping the wacky Professor complete challenges which generally involve moving an item in some wacky way. You’ll do this by putting together contraptions using parts from you’re inventory and you’re going to have a lot of crazy things to work with including wooden boards, boxing gloves, fireworks, solar cells, and teapots. I only went through the first few levels and I must say I was impressed by the amount of items available for use as well as the way you put them to use. By the numbers Crazy Machines Golden Gears THD offers up 42 different challenges and over 60 crazy parts that will help you get the job done.
Crazy Machines Golden Gears THD is a cool contraption building game, and it’s a great fit for Tegra 3 devices with its crisp graphics and particle effects. I’ve been a fan of Rube Goldberg machines since I saw my first one in Pee Wee’s Big Adventure way back when so rest assured I’ll be going a bit more in-depth with the game over the weekend.
