Overview
Every once in awhile you come across a game so unique in its premise, you’ve just gotta’ write about it. Such is the case with Dinosaur Assassin a new game from CDS. I’ve never heard of the developer or played the game, but any game titled “Dinosaur Assassin” is worthy of a look.
Dinosaur Assassin lets you roam around the Jurassic era on a dirt bike while hunting down animals like T-Rex’s, Sabertooth Tigers, Wooly Rhinos, and Megaloceros just to name a few. While I’ve never thought about what kind of vehicle I’d hunt dinosaurs in, a dirt bike seems a fine choice as we all know an SUV will only protect you for so long and dirt bikes are quicker. You can hop on or off your bike anywhere in the game as you explore and hunt in huge open 3D environments. You’ll also get 54 quests to complete as you progress through the worlds of Dinosaur Assassin; I’m assuming you can just roam around and hunt as well, but I’ve also been told to never assume anything… especially when you’re dealing with a game involving dinosaurs and dirt bikes.
Verdict
While I haven’t played Dinosaur Assassin, it definitely looks and sounds like a whole lot of awesomeness. The only downside I see is not having a demo version available to check out. You can learn a lot from gameplay footage, but you’ll never know how a game plays until you get your hands on it. If you want to give it a shot and feel like doing a little dinosaur hunting you can pick up Dinosaur Assassin on Google Play for $2.99.
