Defensive games come in many different forms including Pixely ones. Pixel Kingdom is the latest Android game to try its hand at the old defensive genre, and it succeeds with flying colors.
Pixel Kingdom is one of the simpler defensive games we’ve seen, you simply need to get past the enemy soldiers while keeping them from getting past you. To send out a pixely warrior you simply need to select him then pick a lane for him to travel down. Your goal is to knock the enemies health down to zero before they do the same to you; as usual this is easier said than done. You can plan ahead to an extent, but some of your foes switch lanes which tends to complicate things. I’m not sure how many stages there are yet, but Pixel Kingdom offers up lots of different warriors, items, and achievements.
The Pixely style of Pixel Kingdom works well to set it apart from similar games, and it’s very easy to pick up and play. I haven’t had a chance to spend too much time with the game due to the massive slew of releases this week, but it’s definitely a keeper and a game I think others will enjoy.
