Sega of America hit Android gamers with a double whammy today by releasing Hell Yeah! Pocket Inferno, and House of the Dead Overkill for Android. We’re going to take a look at Hell Yeah! as who doesn’t love a game with devil rabbits?
Hell Yeah! Pocket Inferno follows Ash, a devilish bunny rabbit who just happens to be the prince of Hell. Who knew? You’ll take control of Ash, and try to take out all sorts of evil minions as you make your way through 60 hellish levels on the back of a jet-powered motorcycle. The gameplay basically involves you trying not to hit things as you motor forward through the levels collecting coins and destroying demons. If you hit anything it’s game over, but you will have access to a large number of deadly weapons which makes things somewhat easier.
As much as I wanted to like this game, it ended up feeling stale rather quickly as you’ll have to grind it out to upgrade your gear and get through the game. I played the iOS version when it was released, and one can only assume the Android version isn’t going to be much different. It’s not a bad game, it just feels a bit unfinished. If you want to ride off into Hell with Ash you can pick up Sega’s Hell Yeah! Pocket Inferno on Google Play for $0.99.
