A few weeks back we covered RV Appstudios Astronaut Catcher and now we’re back to take a look at their latest Android game Bloody Monsters. While the two games couldn’t be any more different, they do have one important thing in common… they’re both a lot of fun.
Bloody Monsters is a physics-based shooter that puts your aim to the test as you take out zombie monsters. Yup, Zombie Monsters which are much, much tougher than the regular run of the mill monster. Just kidding, actually you only need to hit them once to take them out, but as with any good zombie movie or game you still want to go for the headshot. In most levels the Bloody Monsters will be hidden behind a wall or some other sort of obstacle so you’re going to have to aim carefully to ricochet your shot and take them out. You’ll also want to take out as many as possible per bullet as your ammo is limited. When a bullet just won’t cut it you can cut lose with other implements like grenades, but you’ll have to earn the right to unlock them by advancing in the game. By the numbers Bloody Monsters has around 200 levels set across 5 different episodes, and there looks to be 6 unlockable power-ups/weapons in the shop.
Bloody Monsters was a nice surprise as I wasn’t sure what to expect from the game, but had a hard time putting it down once I got started. The gameplay is simple, but fun and there are tons of levels to play through so it’s pretty safe to say the game’s got depth… especially if you’re going for 3-star levels. If you’d like to give it a go you can pick up RV Appstudios Bloody Monsters for free on Google Play.
