It’s no secret that I’m a fan of a good Indie, and we got an awesome one a few days ago with Forever Lost Episode 1 from Glitch Games. It was nominated for numerous awards last year and has been praised by everyone who’s played it as you can see from the glowing remarks in the games play store description. Is it truly as good as everyone says? Keep reading to find out….
Forever Lost Episode 1 is an old school adventure game that drops you into a dark and mysterious setting where you’ll have to figure out who you are and how you got there. It’s a point and click style of game similar to the PC classic Myst where you’ll have to look for clues and inspect objects as you travel through the mysterious backdrop of what looks to be a Mental Asylum. I won’t say a lot about the plot or give anything away, but I will say the visuals are stunning and this is only the SD version.
I just started playing Forever Lost last night and have been blown away by how great the game looks and by how creepy it is. I know I’ve been pretty vague describing the game, but take my word for it when I say it’s a game you need to play if you dig the old school point & click Adventure games. At the moment there’s no free version available to try and there’s an HD version listed as coming soon although no price has been given. If you’d like to give it a go now you can pick up the SD version of Forever Lost Episode 1 for $2.33 on Google Play.
