I don’t think it would be a stretch to say that a lot of us consider Worms to be a classic. Worms 2: Armageddon was my personal favorite, and now thanks to Team 17 Digital you can play the tricky strategy game on your favorite mobile platform.
The worms of Worms 2: Armageddon are no ordinary worms. They are actually a crack team of commandos’ hell bent on destroying each other with a wide variety of wacky weapons. You’ll take control of a team of worms and go to war in turn-based battles with the goal of destroying the other team by any means necessary. You’ll get to use everything from average Hand Grenades and Bazookas to funkier weapons like Super Sheep, Banana Bombs, and Holy Hand Grenades. If none of those will do the tricky you’ve always got Napalm to fall back on. In addition to the huge arsenal, Worms 2: Armageddon gives gamers 30 single player missions, pass-and-play multiplayer, practice mode, and body count mode.
Worms 2: Armageddon is “the” worms game a lot of fans have been waiting for, and so far I’m happy to say Team 17 has done an excellent job with the game. I’ve had no glitches and have absolutely no complaints thus; the game is just as fun as I remember it. The $4.99 price tag may scare a few people off that are unfamiliar with the series, but it shouldn’t as you’re getting a lot of bang for your buck. If you want to give it a go you can pick up Team 17’s Worms 2: Armageddon on Google Play.
