While we still haven’t seen hide nor hair of the Avengers Initiative we are getting a visit from a famous comic book Judge. Judge Dredd vs. Zombies is a new Android Game from Rebellion, and it’s a very nice surprise I for one did not see coming.
Judge Dredd vs. Zombies puts you in the role of everyone’s favorite Judge, and your job is dispense Judgement with an iron fist… and a whole lotta’ bullets. Mega-City has been overrun by Zombies and if there’s one thing Dredd hates just as much as crime it’s gotta’ be the undead. You’ll blast your way through three episodes with a whopping 30 levels of play. I actually should say 30 levels of death as Judge Dredd doesn’t tend to play around. You will get to use your trusty Lawgiver, but there are a few other weapons at your disposal including a Scattergun which it thoroughly enjoyable to use.
I’ve been waiting for the Judge Dredd movie to come out as I’m a fan of the comics, actually enjoyed the old Stallone flick, and Karl Urban is pretty bad ass. Judge Dredd vs. Zombies is a nice little surprise leading into the movie, and while it’s not based on the flick you will get to watch a nice trailer for the movie when you fire up the game. We shall return for a full review of the game next week, until then if you’re in the mood to eviscerate a few thousand zombies I highly recommend checking this one out.
