Overview
The folks at Kiwi Inc have just dropped a cool little building game called Monster Park for Android. If the name hasn’t already given it away you get to build a park full of Monsters, and I’ll go ahead at tell you it’s quite a bit of fun.
Instead of buying baby animals you’ll buy baby monsters which honestly is much, much cooler. Just like with animals monsters need their own space, so you’ll have to build those as well. The actual layout of your “park” is very different from what you’d normally see in a building game as they rooms are laid out in a totally different way which makes it kind of feel like a tower building game and not a park/zoo game. The layout may be different, but everything else seems to say the same as you buy, build, and level up your park. There looks to be around 100 different monsters in the game with some being rarer than others. You’ll also get a wide variety of labs and rooms to build which goes along with the slew of monster themed decorations that can be used to spruce up your park. Monster Park’s in-game currency comes in the form of gold, silver, and crystals; if you don’t feel like earning them the through playing you can always buy them via in-app purchase.
Verdict
Monster Park is a slick little building game that kids and adults can both enjoy. The layout may take a little getting used to, but it’s been a blast to play so far. Kiwi Inc is a newcomer to the Android world, but they’ve already released 2 great building games within a month. Needless to say, I’m looking forward to see what they come up with next. I you’re ready to give it a try you can pick up Kiwi Inc’s Monster Park for free on Google Play.
