LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - March 17, 2011) -  Capcom Mobile, a leading developer and publisher of video games, today released NBC's Minute to Win It for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad on the Apple App Store. Based on the hit NBC competition show and licensed by NBCUniversal Television Consumer Products Group, Minute to Win It for iOS is a collection of 1-minute long mini-game challenges based on the manipulation of everyday household items.

In the game players can test their skill against a series of ten pulse-pounding timed challenges based on the show including egg roll, defying gravity and ping tac toe. The game offers two single player modes, "Play the Game" where players follow the rules of the show, and a "Minute Challenges" mode where players attempt to complete mini challenges and best their own times. There is also a multiplayer "Pass-and-Play" mode where players can compete against a friend by passing their handset between contestants. Finally, Minute to Win It supports Game Center achievements, and leaderboards so players can see how their scores stack up against friends and the rest of the world

About Minute to Win It

Minute to Win It airs Wednesdays on NBC (8 p.m. ET) and is hosted by All-American chef and television personality Guy Fieri ("Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives"). The series features competitors participating in a series of simple, yet nerve-wracking, games that can lead to a $1 million prize. In each one-hour episode, competitors face 10 challenges that escalate in level of difficulty using everyday household items. Each game has a one-minute time limit and failure to finish the task on time will eliminate the contestant. At various points throughout the game, the competitor can walk away with the money earned up to that point -- but it'll take nerves of steel to complete all 10 tasks to win $1 million. The competitors, who come from all walks of life, are shown over 60 games prior to the competition and are encouraged to practice these one-of-a-kind challenges at home.

Minute to Win It is produced by Universal Media Studios with Friday Television. Craig Plestis, Tim Puntillo (NBC's "Identity"), Mattias Olsson and Jock Millgardh serve as executive producers.
